I am the author of Evolutionary Metaphors, a book which explores Colin Wilson’s new existentialism in relation to the UFO phenomenon. I also host another blog dedicated to the work of Colin Wilson called Ritual in the Dark.

The Night Tide has been created primarily for personal reasons – I wanted a place where I could write about what I want, when I want. But I also enjoy the necessary limitations and inherent advantages of engaging in a type of ‘public forum’ that the blogging format offers.
